Fun Things To Do In Georgia: A Day At Southern Belle Farm

Recently, spending a day at a Pumpkin Patch made our list of top 5 fun things to do this season. Of course, as it’s already snowing in Canada, this half of our sister duo couldn’t let Fall turn to Winter without heading to a pumpkin patch on my own. A friend and I made our way to Southern Belle Farm in Georgia and though we initially went looking for pumpkins, we ended up doing so much more than sitting around large orange fruit! For a full day's worth of activity, Southern Belle Farm will surely surprise you- in the most pleasant way possible.

Here's what you need to know if you plan on visiting!

Where Just 50 minutes south of the city, Southern Belle Farm is located in McDonough Georgia, and spans over 330 acres of land owned by a local family. Ideal for bonding with families, friends, photographers, and out-of-the-box dates, this unique experience is open seasonally for fresh produce, berry picking, peach picking, fall fun, Christmas trees, and so much more!

What

Now if you're curious as to why this place is so much fun, you'll be happy to know that there's a map with every game, ride, and animal within the farm. Guests are not only limited to whatever "picking" fruit is in season. Everyone can release their inner child on the Jumping Pillows, test their brain cells in the Corn Maze, learn about milk products and caring for pigs near the animal pens, enjoy multiple slides, the faux chicken show, shooting corn, a wagon ride, and the farm animal petting station.

Not to mention, the farm also has a variety of options for food, home-made baked goods, and products in their Market.

No matter the age, there is something on the farm for all to enjoy!

Cost

Admission into just the Market, pumpkin patch/ fruit picking section is free. You’ll only have to pay for the fruit you take when you leave.
