Should I Justify My Decisions When I've Made The Right Choice For Me?

Whenever we make a big decision, it's natural for us to want to share it with the people we love.

But what happens when they disagree with the choices we've made?

Whether it’s moving to a new city, quitting a toxic job, or removing someone from our lives, a lot of us fall into this pattern of justifying or defending our decisions -- even when we know we're doing the best thing for us.

In the end, the people in our circle can make us feel so bad about the plans for our own lives, that sometimes, we're even tempted to change our minds.

So....how do we make important decisions while keeping the peace with everyone else?

The short answer: We don’t.

Of course, we know it can be hard to cut people out of your decision-making processes. Though, when it comes to managing your adult future, there is only one person who can determine the right decision for where you're at.

That person is you.

At the end of the day, when it comes to your life, you should never feel guilty about making the best move for yourself -- regardless of what anyone says.

Even if your choices disappoint some people or ruffle a few feathers along the way, once you are happy and comfortable with whatever decisions or mistakes you make...we say, that's okay!

Cheers,
